Over the past five years, the Mayors of Nantwich have been celebrating the efforts of the community through an annual awards presentation, the fittingly named Salt of the Earth Awards.

Award Winners

The Awards are to recognise and celebrate the achievements of individuals, groups and businesses, that selflessly make a real difference to the Nantwich community.

Each year the Mayor calls for nominations for your local heroes, past Mayor Councillor Arthur Moran comments: “It never ceases to amaze me how lucky we are in this town to have such a large number of hidden gems volunteering their time for the rest of the community. Some of these groups and individuals go undetected for years and this is the town’s opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge some of them.”
