1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

2. DECLARATION OF INTERESTS

Members are asked to declare any disclosable pecuniary interests relating to items on the agenda in accordance with the Council’s adopted Code of Conduct.

3. MINUTES OF POLICY COMMITTEE – 24th June 2021

To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 24th June 2021.

4. PUBLIC CONVENIENCES CONSULTATION

To consider the attached revised consultation document for the review of the public convenience provision at Snowhill.

5. CHESHIRE EAST – HIGHWAYS/TRANSPORT

To consider proposals from Cheshire East to introduce a pilot allowing Town and Parish Councils to purchase top up services for highways maintenance and local bus service routes, following previous discussion at Full Council. (details previously circulated)

6. CODE OF PRACTICE ON LITTER AND REFUSE

To consider the attached code of practice and legislation relating to the duties imposed on local authorities.

7. EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY POLICY

To consider the attached draft policy which would be a requirement of being a Connected Communities Centre.

8. POLICE AND CRIME PLAN CONSULTATION

To consider a response from the Town Council to the consultation on the draft Police & Crime Plan 2021-24.

9. PLANNING CONTROL

Applications for Planning Permission – notification of planning applications by Cheshire East Council upon which comments are to be made (see list attached).  The applications will be displayed at the meeting for inspection.

10. EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC

The Committee is asked to RESOLVE to exclude Press and public pursuant to the Public Bodies Admission to meetings Act 1960 as personal and financial   details of individuals are likely to be discussed.

11. TOWN CRIER

To consider the appointment of a Town Crier.
