Nantwich In Bloom

Nantwich In Bloom Logo

Established some 35 years ago Nantwich In Bloom is a local not-for-profit organisation meeting at regular intervals, to ensure the town has the best possible floral displays which have a year-round appeal. Nantwich has a fine reputation as one of the leading market towns in Britain for its beautiful floral displays and has regularly won RHS awards.

Our volunteers offer their time and energies working to enhance an already beautiful town for residents and visitors alike.

Nantwich In Bloom does not work in isolation but works alongside Nantwich Town Council and many other community groups in the town. We feed into the Nantwich Partnership as part of an environmental arm. We also encourage individual business premises and shops to contribute to floral displays.

Our efforts are mainly concentrated on planting and maintaining floral displays both in the town centre and on Nantwich Railway Station, introducing sustainable planting creating wildlife habitats including tree and wildflower planting ,and maintaining Nantwich Community Orchard.

We also run an allotment which we are using to propagate and maintain plants for our display beds as well as growing some fruit and vegetable crops. Our current portfolio of activities also includes tree planting, and working with schools, community venues, Dementia support groups , and elderly peoples’ homes. Copies of our most recent portfolio may be viewed at Nantwich Library, Museum, Civic Hall and also on our website.
