The Town Council have also taken the decision to postpone events on the Square until further notice including:
- V & A Antiques Markets
- Vintage Escapades Markets
- Artisan Markets
For those who have booked tickets, hired function rooms at the Civic Hall or paid for markets on the square staff have been in touch with the majority of customers, but if you have not heard from us, we will make every effort to contact you once normal operation resumes.
The Town Council and information offices will reopen on Tuesday 14th July. Office opening hours will be 8.30am – 12.30pm and 1pm – 5pm. However the Civic Hall will remain closed for events until further notice.
Nantwich Farmers Market will recommence from Saturday 29th August.
Following Government advice the first step of Nantwich Market reopening took place on Tuesday 16th June, with a one-way system being implemented.
Most of the stalls are now open and the toilets are open Tuesday through to Saturday from 9am. Full details are included in the documents below.

Whilst many of our local independent traders have reopened for business from 15th June, some places remain closed and events have been cancelled:
Nantwich Museum – Temporarily closed
St Mary’s Church – Public services of worship at St Mary’s are suspended until further notice. The Church are broadcasting live church services online.
Nantwich Jazz Festival – This event has been cancelled for 2020
Nantwich Show – This event has been cancelled for 2020
Nantwich Food Festival – This event has been cancelled for 2020
Nantwich Police Beat Surgeries have been cancelled and replaced with Twitter Q&A sessions
Beam Heath Trust Distribution – Due to the current Covid 19 situation, Trustees have decided to re-schedule Claims Day from Wednesday 17th June until Wednesday 21st October. There will be the usual two sessions at The Parish Rooms from 3pm till 4.30pm and 6pm till 7pm. Visits to existing recipients are due to begin in August.
