The Town Council have also taken the decision to postpone events on the Square until further notice including:
- V & A Antiques Markets
- Vintage Escapades Markets
For those who have booked tickets, hired function rooms at the Civic Hall or paid for markets on the square staff have been in touch with the majority of customers, but if you have not heard from us, we will make every effort to contact you once normal operation resumes.
The Town Council and information offices will reopen on Wednesday 2nd December for information only. Office opening hours will be 9am – 4.30pm.
The majority of events at Nantwich Civic Hall are postponed but as we get updates we will list them below:
Nantwich Table Top Sale returns to the Civic on Thursday 10th December. Safety measures will be implemented including sanitisation points on entry, face masks should be worn, one way system, socially distanced stalls, one-way system for viewing the stalls, one entrance and exit, limited capacity. Initially only take-away tea and coffee will be served.
Nantwich Farmers Market will recommence from Saturday 19th December.
Following Government advice the first step of Nantwich Market will remain open for traders selling essential items only. Open hours will remain as usual
Around the town
Many of our local independent traders have now closed again following Government Lockdown Guidelines. Shops selling essential goods will remain open and many have opted to trade online until further notice.
Nantwich Museum – Will close until further notice
St Mary’s Church – Public services of worship at St Mary’s are suspended until further notice. The Church are broadcasting live church services online.
Nantwich Jazz Festival – This event has been cancelled for 2020
