Brookfield Hall, Shrewbridge Road, Nantwich. The public are

There are about 14,000 people living in Nantwich, which
is an attractive market town in Cheshire. The council tax levied
by the Town Council was £20 per Band D property in 2008/09, yielding
roughly £109,000 for the year. The Council's budget meeting is
usually in January.
Town Councillors are very
active in the community. They represent the views of Nantwich
residents and support a wide variety of local organisations. The
Town Council was awarded Quality Status on 6th November 2007, which
means it is recognised as effective and in touch with the people it
serves. To find out more about what Quality Status means, click on
the Quality Status logo on the top right of this page.
Nantwich Town Council has
a grant scheme and grant applications can be downloaded from this site.
The Chairman of the
Council produces an annual report each year. The report by
Councillor Bill McGinnis (Chairman 07/08) is displayed under the heading
Annual Report.
