  The Old Biot The Old Biot is essentially a Brine Spring adjacent to the river which currently feeds the open air brine swimming baths.  This spring commemorates the towns salt industry which was important from medieval times until the 18th century, and hence the name ‘Nantwich’ means ‘Vale of Salt’. Nantwich in Bloom Community Participation

  Nantwich in Bloom does not work in isolation.  And in fact works alongside many other community groups in the town.  The aims and objectives of these groups are similarly aligned and so the overall effect of their combines efforts are greater than if each worked along.
