Council RESOLVED that the Accounts for 2018/2018 be approved and that the Annual Return for 2018/2019 be approved and submitted to the External Auditor at its meeting on 13 June 2019.

External Auditor Report and Certificate 2018-19    to follow

The external auditor will complete the audit and their opinion will be given in the External Auditor report and Certificate.

The Notice of Conclusion of the Audit will then be published in accordance with the Regulations.

 

Town Council Precept

The precept is the town council’s share of the council tax.   The precept demand goes to the billing authority, Cheshire East, which collects the tax for the Town Council.  The ‘Precept’ is converted into an amount per Council Tax Band that is added onto the Council Tax bill.     The precept for 2019/20 is £622,717.
