Nantwich In Bloom

A voluntary group working for the environment

NIB_2016Established some 35 years ago Nantwich In Bloom is a local not-for-profit organisation meeting at regular intervals, to ensure the town has the best possible floral displays particularly during the summer months.  Nantwich has a fine reputation as one of the leading market towns in Britain’s for its beautiful floral displays and has regularly won RHS awards.

Our volunteers offer their time and energies working to enhance an already beautiful town for residents and visitors alike.

Nantwich In Bloom does not work in isolation but works alongside many other community groups in the town.  The aims and objectives of these groups are similarly aligned so the overall effect of their combined efforts is greater than if each worked alone.  We feed into the Nantwich Partnership as part of an environmental arm.

Efforts are mainly on planting and maintaining floral displays and introducing sustainable planting.  The current portfolio of activities includes, tree planting, sowing wild flowers, creating wildlife habitats, countryside crafts and litter picking.  Copies of the portfolio may be viewed at the Library, Museum, Civic Hall and also on the website.
