Nantwich Christmas Lights Switch On

With Christmas just around the corner, the town is already preparing for the festive season.

Nantwich Christmas lights switch on, full of festive cheer, always kicks off the celebrations and is a wonderful part of the seasonal calendar.

The event this year takes place on Friday 15th November and will include an array of entertainment on the square from noon.

Chris Radford will return to host the event, there will be performances from Nantwich Young Voices and popular group UK Bjorn, and of course there’s some free goodies for the children.

To conclude the event expect a spectacular display from Blitz Fireworks around 7pm.

Turning on the lights this year alongside the Mayor of Nantwich Councillor Arthur Moran and Father Christmas are 5 special youngsters who deserve a treat this year.

Once again we welcome the return of our selection of artisan market stalls, along Churchyardshide, from noon.  Expect to find a selection of gifts, food and treats from

You will also find many of the town’s retailers, restaurants and cafes open selling seasonal produce and treats.

A special thanks must go to our Christmas Tree Sponsors Applewood Independent and also to Morrisons Nantwich for their very kind support.
