It’s always a pleasure to welcome back Danny McLoughlin to Nantwich and he’s with us to compere the show. Hailing from Chester, Danny’s essentially a local lad and it’s been great watching him climb the comedy ladder from open spots at the old Limelight in Crewe to headlining the major clubs across the country.
We’re also bringing back Charlie Baker, who was only too happy to re-schedule with us after a last minute cancellation in October. A well known face on TV, Charlie leapt to success winning “Let’s Dance For Comic Relief” which was the perfect forum for his fantastic showmanship.
On the subject of Showmen, you can expect Steve Royle to bring a fair bit of that too. Steve’s appeared in “Phoenix Nights” and “Max and Paddy” and is host to an afternoon show on BBC radio. I’s been four years since Steve stormed it at Nantwich, and definitely one to catch – even if you saw him last time!
Opening the show is Sean Percival. Sean’s brand of comedy steers clear of the surreal and confronts realism with workingman’s efficiency and a glint in the eye.
The show takes place on Friday 2nd February 2018 and tickets are on sale now priced at £10. They can be purchased from the Civic Hall direct or online – link below.
