Remembrance Sunday In Nantwich

Nantwich Town Council in association with the British Legion, will be staging a Remembrance Service in Nantwich Town Centre this Sunday, led by Rev. Dr Mark Hart.

From 10am on Sunday 10th November Nantwich Concert Band will start proceedings by playing on the Town Square.

Parade Marshall Jack Gilbert will lead the procession from Nantwich Civic Hall at 10.35am, which work its way through the town, finishing on the Town Square for a Remembrance Service and a two-minute silence.

Wreath laying at the Cenotaph will be headed by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire and will be followed by The British Legion, Armed Forces, and emergency services.

Poppies and crosses can be purchased from the British Legion or St Mary’s Church, Nantwich.
